Supplication upon committing a sin

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah will surely forgive any servant who, having sinned, performs the ritual ablution properly, then prays two rak‘ahs, and then asks Allah for forgiveness" [Abu Dawud 1521; Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud 1361].

Allah the Exalted said: "And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins — and who can forgive sins except Allah? — and do not persist knowingly in what they have done. For them the reward is forgiveness from their Lord and gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they shall abide eternally. How excellent the reward of the [righteous] workers!" (Qur'an 3:135–136).

After the two rak‘ahs, one asks forgiveness, for example:

"I seek Allah's forgiveness and I turn to Him in repentance."

[Abu Dawud 1521; Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud 1361]
