Qunut al-Witr

Witr is the voluntary night prayer made up of an odd number of rak‘ahs. Its minimum form is a single rak‘ah, while the preferred form is eleven rak‘ahs. The supplications below (the qunut) are recited either before or after the rukū‘ in the last rak‘ah.

"O Allah, guide me among those You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, befriend me among those You have befriended, bless what You have given me, and protect me from the evil of what You have decreed — truly You decree and none decrees against You. He whom You support is never humbled, nor is he whom You oppose ever exalted. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Most High."

The phrase "nor is he whom You oppose ever exalted" comes from an additional narration.
