Every joint of a person owes charity

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ.

On the authority of Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Every joint of a person owes a charity on every day the sun rises. To judge justly between two people is a charity. To help a man onto his mount, or to lift his baggage onto it, is a charity. A good word is a charity. Every step you take towards the prayer is a charity. And removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity."
