Duas before sleep and upon waking up
Duas and adhkar to recite before sleep and upon waking, including Ayat al-Kursi, al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and an-Nas with translation and audio.
Sleep is a minor death, waking a minor resurrection. The Prophet ﷺ taught us to enter and leave sleep with the remembrance of Allah, so that each state carries meaning and protection.
This section includes: the duas before sleep — including the recitation of Ayat al-Kursi ("Allah, there is no god but He…"), Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and an-Nas — along with the supplication when turning over during sleep, upon waking in fear, on seeing a good or bad dream, and the words of remembrance said immediately on waking up.
Every dua is cited from authentic sources (al-Bukhari, Muslim, and others) with Arabic text, diacritics, translation, and audio for memorization.
